Representatives of a cryptocurrency Marketplace  NiceHash reported the hacker stole 64 million worth bitcoins from the main Wallet of the company. A report on this was published on the NiceHash website.

As the Security Lab writes, the NiceHash service allows users to lease and buy processing power for the cryptocurrency. You can send the money earned with it to a third-party crypto-currency purse or use the local purse of the service BitGo.

According to the company, the specialists have not yet established the exact amount of the stolen cryptocurrency. According to the victims of the service user's attack, the stolen funds were transferred to a purse, in which 4,736.42 bitcoins are now stored. At the current rate of the cryptocurrency, this amount is approximately $ 70 million.

In connection with the incident, the administration of NiceHash announced the suspension of work for a minimum of 24 hours. The company promised to strengthen security measures and restore the service as soon as possible. NiceHash users are advised to change passwords when the site is available again.

Recall, in early November, Kaspersky Lab specialists reported the discovery of the CryptoShuffler virus, which steals various crypto-currencies from users' electronic purses. Theft of funds is carried out by substituting the address of the wallet when the user copies it during the transfer of funds.
